Kids’ Weekend
Spend a lovely summer weekend in Käringsund, where kids' entertainment and activities like Peppi the Pirate, magic and a lot of fun take center stage. You're also welcome to take part in Semesterloppet – a fun fitness event for the whole family, organized since 1983.
For those who want childlike fun with activities beyond the regular Weekly Program, this weekend is must! Saturday’s Semesterloppet includes distances suitable for both big and small – the youngest participants have their own race, Lekialoppet. After the race, enjoy our pizza buffet while Beppe the Magician entertains you at the restaurant at 03:30–04:30 PM, after which he will have his own show on the terrace between 05:30–06:00 PM. Throughout the weekend, Peppi the Pirate will make several appearances in Käringsund, she will e.g. instruct a warm up on the terrace on Friday at 07:00–07:15 PM.
Does fishing sound fun? Visit Åland's Hunting and Fishing Museum on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM and craft your own fishing rod for 6€/person, payment directly at the museum. Take the opportunity to also visit their summer exhibition or craft a nice bark boat. Psst, on Sunday you can then test your fishing luck with our activity leader!
Leklandet has prolonged opening hours since there are so many childlike activities to do – so that everyone gets a chance to try everything! Leklandet is open on Sunday, July 13 between 11:00 AM–05:00 PM, show your number plate from Semesterloppet to enter for only 10€ – welcome!

01:00 – 01:45 PM Kayak course for kids. 5€/person. Min 1 – max 3 people.
01:15 – 02:15 PM Beach volleyball for kids
02:00 – 02:45 PM Try paddleboarding for kids. 10€/person, free of charge for those with the activity bracelet. Min 2 – max 8 people. Children under 10 years only with a supervisor.
