Kids’ Weekend July 10-12, 2026

Spend a lovely summer weekend in Käringsund, where kids' entertainment and activities take center stage. You're also welcome to take part in Semesterloppet – a fun fitness event for the whole family, organized since 1983.

Friday, July 11, 2025

10:00 – 11:00 AM           Padel for kids (ages 8–12). Booking min 6 hours in advance at matchi.se.

10:45 – 11:00 AM           Dance with Peppi the Pirate

11:15 AM – 12:00 PM    Easy mountain bike tour. 10€/person, incl. bike, free of charge for those with their own bike. Min 1 – max 5 people.

01:00 – 01:45 PM           Kayak course for kids. 5€/person. Min 1 – max 3 people.

01:15 – 02:15 PM           Beach volleyball for kids

02:00 – 02:45 PM           Try paddleboarding for kids. 10€/person, free of charge for those with the activity bracelet. Min 2 – max 8 people. Children under 10 years only with a supervisor.

03:00 – 04:00 PM           Short boat tour, weather permitting. 12€/person. Min 2 – max 8 people.

04:00 – 04:45 PM           Pedal car race for kids

07:00 – 07:15 PM           Warm-up before Semesterloppet with Peppi the Pirate

10:00 – 11:00 AM           Short boat tour, weather permitting. 12€/person. Min 2 – max 8 people.

10:00 AM – 05:00 PM    Craft your own fishing rod at Åland's Hunting and Fishing Museum. Sign up in advance here: REGISTRATION or by calling +358 40 5886716. Take the opportunity to also visit their summer exhibition or craft a nice bark boat. Psst, on Sunday you can then test your fishing luck with our activity leader!

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM    Fishing from pier or rocks for kids

01:00 – 01:45 PM           Kayak course for kids. 5€/person. Min 1 – max 3 people.

01:15 – 02:15 PM           Treasure hunting for kids

02:00 – 02:45 PM           Try paddleboarding for kids. 10€/person, free of charge for those with the activity bracelet. Min 2 – max 8 people. Children under 10 years only with a supervisor.

02:30 PM →                      Lekialoppet 1 km start

02:50 PM →                      Semesterloppet 12 km, 8 km, 4 km start

03:00 – 04:00 PM           Guided bike tour around Storby, ca. 5 km. 10€/person, free of charge for those with the activity bracelet.

03:30 – 06:00 PM           Pizza buffet at the restaurant. Book a table and preferably pay in advance at the reception or at the restaurant.

03:30 – 04:30 PM           Magical entertainment on the terrace by Beppe the Magician

04:00 – 05:00 PM           Games and play for kids

05:30 – 06:00 PM           Beppe the Magician's magic show on the terrace
